Please note:  Weekends and Bank Holidays are not classed as working days as our warehouse is closed. 


Next Day and Express Orders must be placed before 3pm (Monday - Friday) to be dispatched the same working day.   Please note that deliveries are made Monday to Friday only  (Please note: Although 97-99% deliveries are made on time, we can not always guarantee Next Working Day so please order as early in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.)


Postal Service

All UK orders will be sent by Courier or Royal Mail. Our couriers offer a 'leave safe' service, to instruct the courier where to leave your parcel please complete the Extra Shipping Instructions at the check out stage.

Our labelling system is fully automated for efficient dispatch of your order. The delivery address that you provide us with, is where your order will be delivered, so please ensure that you provide us with the correct details at the checkout stage.

We do not currently deliver to PO box addresses.

If a delivery cannot be made, our couriers will attempt to deliver the next working day, if still unsuccessful the parcel may be returned to us. In the case of this happening, we will automatically refund the order minus the postage cost. If the order qualified for free delivery, 4.99 will be deducted from the refund to cover the return cost.

Next Day deliveries must be placed before 3pm Monday to Friday and will be delivered the next working day.  Next day services, although between 97-99% successful are not guaranteed.


Reporting Damages & Missing Items

If you receive your order and their happens to be damages to your goods or anything missing from your order, this needs to be reported to us within 5 working days of receipt of the goods. Cancellation of Orders

If you wish to cancel your order after placing please contact us as soon as possible. We can not guarantee that we can cancel your order if it has already been processed, we strive to provide an extremely efficient service so your order may have already been dispatched. In this case, you would have to either refuse the parcel at the point of delivery or return to us at your own cost.

When we receive your parcel back to us we will refund the cost of goods minus the postage, if the order qualified for free postage we will deduct 4.99 from the refund to cover the return postage.

We cannot guarantee that we can alter orders after they have been placed as our system is fully automated and your order will have already started to be processed.

Orders for freshly baked cakes can not be cancelled if the cakes have already been baked for the order.


Freshly Baked Cakes



Orders for freshly baked cakes really are baked fresh just for you and dispatched separately from our specialist kitchen at our Warrington store.  This means that if you order your cakes along with other items, you may receive a split delivery. This also applies for frozen cakes. As the cakes are baked freshly to order, you are unable to cancel them once they have been baked.

Our bakery times are 8am-12pm (noon).  Orders received after 12 pm will be baked the following day, please keep this in mind when placing a next day delivery.  All orders for cakes require 1 extra working day for delivery as your cake needs time to cool before it is dispatched.


Click & Collect


We offer a click & collect service on our website. If you place your order before 12 noon (Mon-Fri), it will be delivered from our Warehouse into store the next working day before 12 noon, it will then be ready for collection. The charge for this service is 2.50, if you cancel or fail to collect your order within 10 days we will automatically refund your order with the deduction of the 2.50 charge. 

Why is there a charge for this service?

Our click and collect orders are not picked from our shop, the shop is run separately to our website and has different products and pricing. When ordered before 12 noon on a week day, your click and collect order will be picked in our warehouse and sent to us on a Next Day service, to arrive into store the following working day (Mon-Fri). This means your order will jump the queue of any other orders waiting to be picked and arrives on an AM delivery into the shop the following working day.

As we try and keep prices as competitive as possible online, we would be unable to absorb the next day cost fully on your order (but we do absorb the majority!).

This service is totally your for convenience and we work very closely with our warehouse to ensure deliveries arrive on time.


Express Delivery Exceptions



There are some postcodes in the UK that we can't guarantee a next day service to. Please allow 2-4 working days for deliveries to the postcodes below.

AB30-31, AB33-38, AB41-43, AB44-45, AB51-56 & 63, BT, DD8-9, FK8 3, HS, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW1-3, KW5-14, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH10-11, PH13-14, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH45-48, PH49-50, TR21-25, TD15 2, ZE, KW15, PA20-49,PA62-78, PA80, KW16-17.

We always use a courier service to deliver our goods as we want the safest and most efficient method of shipping to our customers. We have secured the best possible prices from the couriers we use to be able to ship to these areas.



Overseas Customers

Postage is calculated on destination and weight of goods, you may be contacted after your order is placed to make extra payment for shipping.



Restrictions on Goods

Items such as knives, bladed articles, liqueur chocolates, alcohol, Christmas crackers, party-poppers and similar have restrictions by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 18.

Overseas orders may be refused  or adjusted if  the destination country has restrictions on the goods ordered, or where the carrier is unable to accept them (e.g. flammable substances).

We are at present unable to post to Russia
